When you enter the room/stage do the following :
1) Pause
2) Scan the room/stage
3) Donot rush into whatever you are saying
4) Stay at the centre of the stage (Donot stand in front of anything that might distract audience (e.g Window)
5) Never show your back to the audience
6) Stand with a gap in your legs and hands straight down.
This is because your body language speaks for yourself well before you say anything.
