Five years back at this time I was...
Five years ago Veechi was giving one on one sessions of life coaching, resilience building and hypnotherapy as well as hosting workshops for self development and transformation.
Vanshika was attending college in New York completing her bachelor's degree in culinary arts management and discovering the food and wellness connection.
My typical day looks like...
We tend to have days that are very differently paced depending on weather or not we are hosting retreats. During retreats training days are long and intense, we wake up early and put a lot of time, love and energy into ensuring our clients have a truly transformative and healing experience. When we are not hosting retreats however, the pace is a little more relaxed. We wake up and do our morning yoga or meditation or take a walk outside in nature. Our hours are flexible on these days and we also see private clients and spend time developing content for our emotional and spiritual wellness focused courses.
Best past of working for my company:
Bringing change in human behavior, inspires us to change and evolve. Its never boring, working with people and mind. The human endeavor to grow is inspiring and it rewarding to see transformation happening. Getting to do retreats with people from different cultures so diversity. Working together with people. We learn about people and also get exposed to international cultures and cuisines.
The BEST part of working in my company/role is...
We both feel that the best part of working in our roles as wellness experts, is to able to facilitate and witness the beautiful journey of transformation. To watch someone blossom into a fuller version of themselves is deeply rewarding and fulfilling.
The most Important skills I use daily in my job are...
The most important skills we use in our position is that of conscious communication, to actively listen and participate with the world around us. Apart from this we also use critical thinking skills to aid stress management and conflict resolution for our clients.
When and How I chose my long term career choice...
Where Veechi and Vanshika are today in their career is a culmination of lifelong experience, a choice-less choice. They feel that the learning and experiences that life offered them evolved into their unique skill set of today. "When we are filled with wisdom and light, existence gives you many opportunities to share this with the world." People naturally are attracted to the fragrance of this journey from self to sharing. The sharing of our values and our love has bloomed into what we are offering today.
One of the silliest things we do about career is...
As Wellness consultants facilitating deep transformative journeys, we have learned that it is vital to be patient with our clientele. One of the ways in which we have been tricked by our minds is thinking that we can find a fast-forward button or a magical catalyst to this intense and life changing process.
The best piece of advice I have ever received...
The best advice that our careers have taught us is that it is vital to focus on the needs of the client over what we feel we want to deliver. Their goals and best intrest take priority over what we feel would be the ideal service delivered.
The Jobs in 2050...
We feel that need based jobs are becoming increasingly outdated and that people will be working driven more and more by passion and creativity. Technology will evolve to allow people to share their unique skills across borders. Boundaries, rigid work hours and unfulfilling jobs will become more redundant as people will be guided from higher needs of self actualization and expression rather than basic needs.

My career advice to you...
We both believe that the most fulfillment can be found by being courageous enough to follow your heart! We don't need to live life too seriously. Being playful and taking it one day at a time is the best thing you can do for yourself.
